Workshop on Talent Attraction and HR Management in Research – HRS4R & EURAXESS

The RESAVER team was honored to join an insightful event in Barcelona, organised by EURAXESS Catalonia and hosted by Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), focusing on HR management in research and talent attraction.

Board members Indi Seehra and Mark Kiss, along with our colleague Agustin Calvo, participated in a roundtable on the European Commission's RESAVER pension initiative and its role in enhancing researchers' financial well-being. Amara Odériz Itúrbide from Cuatrecasas provided key insights into implementing RESAVER in Spain, which recently received regulatory approval, making it the eighth EU country where it is operational.

We extend our gratitude to EURAXESS Catalonia, UOC, and all contributors for their valuable perspectives on HR management, talent attraction, and research careers. With over 100 attendees from HR departments across Catalonia, the event underscored the growing momentum for research mobility in the EU.
